GhostOwl vs agent traffic analytics
Agent traffic analytics show which AI agents already visit your site in production. GhostOwl sends its own agents on purpose, on your site and your competitors’, so you can find and fix a broken journey before real agents hit it, and prove the fix with a re-run.
Side by side
| Agent analytics | GhostOwl | |
|---|---|---|
| Needs a tag or log access | Yes | No, just a URL |
| Works on competitors | No | Yes, public pages only |
| Catches breakage before release | No | Yes, on preview URLs |
| Reproducible runs | Depends on traffic | Nine runs per journey |
| Shows why an agent left | Sometimes | Step, cause and agent message |
The difference
Analytics tell you what happened to the agents that showed up. That is useful, but it waits for real traffic, it can't see the agents your bot rules turned away at the door, and it can't look at a competitor.
GhostOwl runs controlled tests instead. The same journeys, agents and attempts every time, so a change in the score means the site changed, or the agent did, and the fidelity panel tells you which.
