The difference
Static checks are now free and easy to find. Shopify launched a tool that scores any store URL on 31 checks with no login, and Cloudflare offers a free Agent Readiness score that groups its checks into discoverability, content, bot access control and capabilities.
They are worth running. But a site can pass every check and still lose the agent: a consent banner that never closes, a price that only appears after a script runs, a bot rule that blocks one agent and not another.
